The Siemens SKP25.203E2 is an electro-hydraulic actuator used on industrial and commercial combustion systems where reliable gas valve operation and rapid fail-safe closure are required.

Functional Operation
When the actuator is energised, an internal pump transfers hydraulic fluid within the actuator to build pressure in the stroke chamber. This drives the piston to open the gas valve against the return spring.
When power is removed, the pump stops and the internal relief path allows the return spring to drive the piston back, closing the valve quickly to a safe position.
Typical Failure Symptoms
- Gas valve not opening during start-up
- Burner fails to prove or locks out
- Actuator does not complete stroke
- Switch feedback not detected by the control system (where fitted)
